Ideal Type

I'm currently in a relationship and I haven't really thought if he is my ideal partner. Obviously he isn't that bad, since we have been in a relationship for a year. I'm planing to let him know probably on Valentines day.. That way we'll see if we have similar views of what we consider to be ideal for one another.

I have heard the saying "opposite attract" many times but I don't believe they last, I'm not the kind of person who likes arguing. So we need to have similar (not exactly the same) personalities.

I may be a bit traditional in this sense but I want someone who is able to make decisions like where to go for dinner, what to do on the weekend, etc. Of course I should also be able to make decisions but I prefer that the man has a bit more control. It gives me the feeling of being protected or taken care of. I believe that if we both have similar or equal levels of education, salaries, and culture there are less problems. None the less he should be faithful, loyal, respectful, and caring. And most importantly love me for who I am.

Well looks like he fit those qualities :)

  1. this is a good and honest start for what (this particular) woman wants.
but to apply ourselves to this we need to go more towards the "ideal" forms of relationship between the two.
    E.g.,
we see each other this % of the time
we communicate through these means: face to face, text, phone this % of time
we communicate about these realms: dreams, fears, plans, gossip, sports, fun, psychology, sex, family of origin, family of procreation, etc.
we travel these places, this much
we eat ... this way ... this often
we share $$ this way ... and plan to this way ...
    etc.
"IDEAL TYPE" is to be specific on aspects of the relationship between two, not "he's my ideal guy" or "she's my ideal gal." those are "dreams."
    I.E., BE SPECIFIC
this could be a fun exercise.
