I know what you're thinking.

This class sounds hard! That's a lot of writing!
No, no my fellow Sociology/Anthropology students. It is not as bad you think it is. Our class learned a lot this past SPRING. You'll learn more about yourself, how to write better, and use the correct ASA format when writing papers.
You'll also learn to fix simple grammatical errors by the end of the quarter.

Take it easy, there were many of us in her class, and we all walked away happy.
Take a step back, breathe in, breathe out, and enjoy the class ;-)

annual competition for Student Research Stipend Awards

The Center for the Study of Genders and Sexualities!
Students to research issues concerning gender and sexuality—in humanities, sciences, social sciences—can apply. Winner will receive a $500 stipend ... Grad students and upper-division undergrads are eligible. If department policy permits, a student may also receive unit credit. Students are required to have a faculty advisor supervise ...by the end of the spring 2012 Quarter. Students will present their research at the CSGS Student Research Conference at the end of the spring 2012 and the opportunity to work with a CSGS faculty member in preparing their projects for online publication.  NOTE: students who are working as TAs, GAs, and Instructional Student Assistants in a given quarter are not eligible to receive research stipends during the quarter in which they are employed.
