After writting in your journal how did you feel? Were you more relieved?
I found myself to be more passive and relieved. I will cotinue writting on my own, but it's not going to be right when I wake up. Instead, I want to write at night just before bed, so I can fall asleep with a "clear mind". Will you continue to write in a journal?

The morning pages was a good idea and kept my mind active; writing down things that were on my mind or constantly reminding myself of what I needed to do during the day. I probably won't contiune writing in my journal but if I do I'll write in it at night. I agree with you on falling asleep with a 'clear mind'.
ReplyDeleteI hated it, horrible assignment. My mind is not active AT ALL in the mornings. I am pretty much brain dead, I need to be active consistently during the day in order for me to be able to right. I am much better doing things before going to bed than just waiting up after bed.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I won't take another professor who does this. Waste of my time.
Joshua: maybe at some other time of your life you could see the benefit of jotting down notes each morning when you are most fresh. Were you to do it on your own, maybe a paragraph would be enough. anyway, it's over now, so you can go back to your regular mornings.
