Talking About Movies ......
Has anyone seen Tree of Life? I just tried to watch it and a half hour into it I had to call my best friend and ask her what it was about. I mean, I get the concept about "Nature" and "Grace" but ...... I had no idea what was going on and I was totally bored. I don't think I am cerebral enough. Or spiritual enough. Or something. I just want to be entertained when I put a movie in.... was not in a mood to think so much.

I haven't even heard of that movie. I really want to see "Act of Valor". I also started watching "J. Edgar" but it seemed boring and I couldn't get into it. I saw "The Departed", George Clooney was really good, but I wasn't a fan of the movie to depressing. I'm watching Hugo now so far it's interesting. Oh and another movie I really didn't like was "Drive" wow was that movie slow. It took forever for something to happen. It took me like 5 tries to get through that movie.
ReplyDeleteI think you mean George Clooney in The Descendants? I liked that one. Hugo is good. Anyway, don't even try for Tree of Life. If you don't like this director (Thin Red Line, Heaven's Gate) you won't like this one. J. Edgar was pretty interesting but definitely not modern.
