How to weigh human's soul?

According to a doctor at Massachusettes, here is a formular:
The weight of one who is at the moment of passing away subtracts his/her weight right after death. The average of human's soul, according to this doctor, is 21 grams.

    Interesting.. I have never thought of someones actual soul having a weight. I wonder what that 21 grams could be, if not a soul...

    the weight of oxygen in the lungs?

    the weight of energy exasperated pumping blood and such?

    the weight of human intention to hold on?
