  1. To know the truth, is to be free and non confrontational.
And the power those who are free hold is unimaginable. All it is - I believe, is acceptance and the inspiration that people feel is that of being able to choose no side. Because, in reality there are no sides. We are all human, all the same. Those who have not found the truth create sides and conflict. People admire those that are conscious and aware that there are horrors around the world. They realize it is happening and understand that nothing can change it, no political party, no individual. Only as a whole...all of us together can bring peace if we accept others and take a moment to see the way they see-to understand why they do and completely accept it. If we do that with everyone we cross paths with, we not only will be much happier, but we will gain knowledge and wisdom that will help us grow in this beautiful but dynamic world.

What do you get from this?

  2. Social horrors, torture genocide and violence have been an on going existential struggle for me. It is easy to say, yes, we are living in a material illusion when our bodies aren’t being beaten down or tortured. But what happens when you feel the pangs of starvation and thirst, when you feel foreign hands tearing violently at your body, when you are penetrated by rage, when you feel your flesh burn, your limbs ripped apart, when you feel blood and breath leave your body? How do you resolve the idea that we create our own reality in a world where violence is perpetrated on others? This has always been a frustrating question for me, which initially lead me to social apathy. If people will do evil deeds in the world and I can’t stop it or change it, than why interact in the world at all? I will merely sit atop my lotus and completely internalize a more beautiful world. Nothing we do is going to change the world anyway. But, the more I learn, the more it has become clear to me that isolation and apathy are another form of fear. As Mooji said, “no one person will ever change the world,” but by radiating universal love we can influence the overall dynamic that exists in the universe. (Verstehen) Although our attempts to empathize are an entryway into love, I don’t really believe that we can truly empathize. In empathizing I am still seeing a reflection of myself. I will never see or understand the meaning you interject into the world, so absolutely the only way to love and make a better world is to love yourself and exude love. It is impossible to love another; it is only possible “to Love” in the truest sense of the word. I only have self-understanding through my quasi-objective understanding of you, but this doesn’t have to create apathy (a plea to myself).

Occam’s Razor, “one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.”

We are alive to experience separateness, we are here because we are meant to be here, and we are experiencing this because we were meant to experience it, as yin/yang, dark/light, and pain/pleasure. We are the essence of each other; I can only experience you with the meaning I have given “you.” I am at peace when that meaning is “Love.”
