I WONDER WHY...
So I recently met this guy..we've been talkin for about a week now.. hes a very cool person, handsome, very nice and super sweet.. but that's the problem .. i feel like he's too nice.. He's always complimenting me and being wayyy to nice, almost to the point where i feel like he's a pushover. We hung out once and since he doesnt have a car right now i had to pick him up, i asked where he wanted to go and he said, "i dont know wherever you want" i said, "i dont mind, i dont know this area" than hes like wherever, "las mujeres mandan" which is pretty much women rule... like what we say goes.. its nice to be in charge too. but like we were talkin about in class yesterday its nice for both people to have a say. It's like i feel like i want him to take initiative too. he tells me everyday how pretty i am, how great i am , and all this stuff and although it's nice to hear how do u tell someone when its just to much without being rude, and how do you tell him to have his own opinion on things without sounding rude as well? I want him to know he doesnt always have to agree with me and that he is too nice! i wonder why that happens, although we dont want a guy to be a jerk, when there too nice , we think something is wrong with them. what should i do or how can i tell this guy without hurting him? I still want to talk to him and hang out, but I want him to know how i feel.

PLAYFULLY!: say stop you're going to give me a big head when he makes a comment like that again & in terms of him creating his own opinion & not just agreeing with you, ask him so what's your opinin or what do you think? when he just tries to agree with you tell him...quit telling me what you think i want to hear.
ReplyDelete...that's honestly all you can say while still being nice and you can still come across as being playful. if he still doesn't it get it then girrll sorry to say it but NEXXTTT!.
(hope that helps at all) :)
There is only one reason for most men who are being "cool person, handsome, very nice and super sweet." That is, get to "the point" as soon as possible - sorry to say. "Since he doesnt have a car," but at least he know where to go in order to call: it is a date. So, why don't you try public tranportation to hang out next time? I hope this will shake his head a little bit to think: where to go, what bus, metro number to catch, what time has to be there, and how to pay the fees. There is one more technique to cause his reaction, but I have to stop here because there are a lot of better ideas that havenot commented yet. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteTell him to be himself.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what's going through his head? He has a nice looking girl next to him, he should "man" up a little bit.
yea, umm if a guy is being super super nice to the point where its annoying and he's not having his own opinion or being straight forward, he's just looking to go somewhere with you and move on. i had this ex who got with a guy who was super nice and turned her world upside down cuz she wasn't treated like that before, the dude was mr.nice guy, so she thought...and i thought! lol it wasn't until she hooked up with him and that mr.nice guy persona went out the door and his true "player" ways came out. so in your case, be aware of this nice guy bs, cuz the true sweethearts tell it like it is and are their own person no matter how cute you are.
ReplyDeleteguys who are way too nice, have something to hide. Well thats just what i think. So just keep an eye on him.
