"I Hate it When" Wednesdays

Okay I know it's Monday. But for some reason I've been thinking about this all day. I must vent and find out if I am the only one. I HATE IT WHEN....PEOPLE JUMP ON THE ELEVATOR AT KING HALL ON FLOOR 1...TO GET TO FLOOR 2!!!!!!! I get it. It's a free country. Do whatever you want! But come ON people. There are 4 floors (5 with the basement i guess) in King Hall. There's at least 8 people or so on floor 1 waiting on the elevator to get to floors 3 or 4. Quite a few times already one person has jumped on WITH NO HEAVY BAGGAGE,  NO CARTS, NO INURIES, OR EVEN ROLLY BACKPACKS and hits the #2 button. REALLY?!?! you couldn't go up ONE flight of stairs??!?!? The rest of us 3rd or 4th floor-ers (my new word) have bigger problems! More flights than you Ma'am or Sir!. I know what some of you are thinking, and let me assure you, all of the 2nd floor-ers i have come across ARE IN GREAT SHAPE FOR ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS!... yes i did take that into consideration. Therefore i say to myself, You CANNOT be serious! UGH every single time it happens i get the tick in my eye. I cant help it. I hate it when..that happens. Am i the only one?

  1. Sounds like any normal pet peeve.

Mine is when people can't park in between the lines in a parking spot. Pisses me off all the time, especially since I can't do anything about it.

  2. You are not alone. I climb stairs all day at work and I park in Lot 7, which is near Student Housing. There are nearly 12 flights of stairs from that parking lot to King Hall. It is a work out (since I can never seem to get to the gym) but I always take the elevator from the basement because by then, combined with a full backpack, I am trying to catch my breath! And I am in pretty fair shape! My classes in King Hall are the third and fourth floors, so I am a fellow 3rd and 4th Floorer. Lol. But it gets annoying. It's like if you didn't wear uncomfortable shoes or not being so lazy, one flight of stairs is not going to kill you. Twelve will, or deprive you of oxygen in my case.
