I owned an infant and toddler center .... then it grew to a preschool ..... then to an elementary school .... then to a high school. Hard part about that is the number of staff you need - x number of adults for each baby, child, student. Administrative staff. Indoor square feet and outdoor square feet, parking. The needs of many and the money never goes far enough.
I now board dogs just here and there - recommendations from friends. Helped a friend start a boarding facility in Hawthorne and she is doing very well. I might do it once I move. It is a lot of work though but dogs are easier than kids. Kids aren't so bad - it's the parents who want to make sure Mary and Johnny will get in Harvard. The politics of education and all of that. Plus your competition is partially the public school system which is free!!
Stay away from needing to pay a lot of rent and having a lot of staff. Do what you love. Keep writing every morning like we are doing with our morning pages. Keep your mind open. It will come to you and then it will be awesome!!!!
I like the club idea best. Lol But I had a fantastic idea to create a bowling alley, skating rink, and movie theater all in the same building. First floor: Bowling alley. Second floor: Skating rink and a small theater on top. Lol
