Class was interesting; I didn’t have any expectations. But I feel that writing might be a little easier, due to the fact we don’t have to focus on the length of the paper. I love “less is more” I never understood why instructor always wanted you to write long papers, I always felt myself dragging out the paper when I had to write ten page papers. Someone said the longer the pages the smarter the student. I don’t believe that to be true. Just in one day I find myself going back and cutting off words, funny because I did it in this post. :)
Yes! I definitely feel more encouragement =) I hope that by the end of this course my Writing will be better and reading will become a part of my daily life.
I do feel a bit more encouragement about writing since day one. I am a bit nervous because I know my writing needs a lot of improvement and I'm not too sure if ten weeks will be enough.
This blog makes the writing class interactive and a lot more exciting. :D Heck yeah I'm motivated to write! Ten weeks is a short time but we can learn to write better in that time.
It's funny, notice I used it's correctly, that after the first week of class I do feel encouraged about writing. I felt more confident in my writing because nothing discussed so far came as new information. Let's see how the rest of the quarter goes. :)

I am indifferent. Might have something to do with the 20+ days of writing every single morning. Maybe I am a bit pessimistic, but I don't think the the journal will help me with my writing.

This class seems like it will be my only cool class this quarter. It is not boring like my other ones. Like someone else mentioned already, i like that we don't have to write a lot to get our points across. I am not a big fan of perfect grammar however, since i think as long as people understand what you are saying it shouldn't matter. But that's just my opinion. The journal assignment sounds pretty cool though!
I feel that this course will help me develop as a writer. The writing courses I have taken in the past were standard and never asked this much from me. This is the first writing class that requires the use of a blogging site, as well as making journal entries. This quarter will be interesting. I am looking forward to the weeks ahead.
First and second class had good effects on me. at the first sound of "writing for Sociology 301" i felt like i was going to be treated like a 1st grader who is given those writing sheets of paper that have thick lines. After both classes i feel totally different. i feel as if i will be ENCOURAGED to make my writing better; not so much told what to do.
It seems that I'am finally able to post yay. Well the first day made me realize that their are so many words that one can omit when writing. As long as it makes sense than it's fine. I usually ramble about the same thing because i get nervous when i begin to write, and i start thinking about the weekend. I start biting my nails to. lol. I like the fact that we only need one book. I've struggling trying to pay my tuition and books, that one book was music to my ears. I think this class will encourage me to actually love writing i hope. lol As for the blogging this is my first time using it. It is actually fun to interact with our peers through writing, share videos, and issues in our lives for the most part. Hope the quarter goes great.
