  1. your question reminds me about the nature of this country, freedom and democracy. People have their freewill to do what they think it is right. By the way, what is right? What is wrong? I believe it's just the way we create meaning of things. Terrors are also known as freedom fighters. Who has the right to determine the wrong of others? How does that particular one know his/her decisions are right? I think if people live and happy with their partner, then we just leave them alone. This will be a better choice than being a single parent, being abused by their partner or living in unhappy family.
What do you think, TheLoudOne? :))

  2. LOL

Natural, I'm glad you called me out.
I was actually biting my tongue on this one.
I believe that this country is now moving towards being run by minorities. Not ETHNIC minorities, but belief minorities.

However, I'm not a bible thumper so let me explain. I believe, that the majority rules. If the majority have spoken, then it should go.

Those states that allow 1st cousin marriages (shivers), fine, the majority voted on it. I don't believe in it, but it's my fault for not voting on that matter.

One country's terrorist is another country's hero. I agree with you on that.

However... there has to be a point when people draw a line. For example, pedophilia. On a personal belief system, I believe it's disgusting, immoral, and those that do it need to be castrated.

However, let's say one state passed it because the majority voted on it. Can you imagine your child be preyed upon LEGALLY by these people? I think the organization is called MANBLA. I don't want to google or yahoo it b/c i believe big brother watches certain keywords ;-)

What is wrong? what is right? That's based on personal morals and cultural norms or ethics. America is famous for preaching to other countries to fix their stuff but don't fix their own.

In Poli-Sci, I've learned that America set a rule to have Iraq's parliament to have 25% or more represented by females and they've exceeded that number. America's senators and representatives were only 14% at the time.

Yes... I do believe that if they are happy with their partners, who are we to judge? As long as the statutory laws apply, I don't see who should stop who from loving someone.
