Here are my tips. Really think about your first sentence. Really think about your final sentence. Then turn to your title. Does the title bridge the two sentences? Now you can reshape the direction of the whole first paragraph and the whole last paragraph.
Also, a great exercise is to write down ONE WORD for each paragraph to ensure you know what each paragraph "does."
