Anybody else have this experience?
You added a class that requires a prerequisite but you haven't taken it yet. For some reason, the GET system allows you to register for that class. Now you are trying to scramble around to find another class to replace that class you have to drop. Not to mention, you have to go through that department and get the instructor's approval for you to drop that class and beg the department not to give you a W. The most frustrating part is that you just paid for that book and it cost you 160 bucks. This problem can really discourage some students. This problem needs a solution that can eliminate some of the frustrations that students experience every beginning of a quarter.

I wonder who could fix that problem? That would be a worthwhile pursuit. Who inputs requirements for classes into GET - or are requirements never input into GET?
ReplyDeleteThis is a really problem, the campus should think about it
