Found a journal i was writing in the 5th grade. So hiloarious the problems I thought I had then. Or who i liked and what I was thinking. It was so interesting to see how my mind worked then and how it does now. Obviously it's going to be much different, but when you sit back and really think about it, the human brain is so amazing. How it develops over time. Just amazing
I know what you mean. My mom was cleaning the storage room the other day and I happened to pop my head in the room. Well I am glad I did because I came across a journal that I started in 1996-1997 and never finished. Let's just say I am glad that my mom did not come across it and read it. I don't usually keep journals but is was nice and funny to read. I could not believe the silly things that I thought were important enough to write down.
ReplyDeleteI journal regularly and always have, but I destroy the pages after I'm done. I did run into some old writing assignments from when I was in grade school... I think it's encouraging. Look at how much our writing has improved since we were kids! Hopefully, we'll all be better writers by the end of this class, too.
