"I told myself that this year I’d get over my middle school-era qualms about my fellow Korean (/Korean American) people, and perhaps try some Korean drumming, but I cannot bring myself to get over it and walk my feet over to practice and meet new people and learn something new. I don’t really know if it’s the qualms or my antisocial tendencies or both or something else. Sigh! I feel like I am in constant negotiation with my Korean-ness."
