A Proud American

I am so proud to be an American today.. It has finally come... an end of an era- or should i say an Error... it is now Obama's turn to lead our country into some what of an order that we can all follow.. I am so emotional, that a country like the US has to go through so much... We as a nation have failed to secure one another in this tragic time of need. WE steal, lie, hate, and cause other chaos just to survive, i can not wait until some peacefulness arises after the storm has settled. i do not know how Obama is gonna do it... but i hope he has the patience and power to figure out how the super power of the world is going to get back on its feet. He has made very big promises and i hope he will be able to at least accomplish some of them. this nation does not need another failure, but a president that is preaching about hope, change, wisdom... as Obama has been doing! i wish him much luck and success in his 4 years in office!

  1. He himself will not be able to make these changes. WE as a nation need to work together for the greater change. Becuase i believe we have worked individually & now is the time to work together as we did the day we voted for Obama.

  2. I agree. We have a long road ahead of us and now more than ever I think we all need to pull together.

  3. I believe President Obama will do his best to make good on his promises. But there is one thing we must keep in mind; he cannot do it alone. Our government is structured to limit the president’s power; it's called "checks and balance". He will need to get the House of Rep's and the Senate on his side in order for him to make a "major" difference. Although I am hopeful and believe we have the right man in office, I can't help but reflect on the past bickering and animosity among the two parties. It's time that the Democrat's and the Republican's come together for a greater purpose, to serve the "Americans" and not serve solely on partisanship. I hope that for once, in all most a decade, that the government can pass policies for the greater good of the people.
