This has nothing to do with the assigmnet: Just a question....what do you guys think about forgiven those that have hurt you or how to deal with forgiveness? i just want your point of view
I think forgiveness is a necessity in life. I believe that a person must forgive another person not only because it is morally right but a burden lifter/cleansing for the person doing the forgiving. When forgiving I believe one should not for get like the cliche tells us to do but remember so nextime if there ever is one you will be prepared.
great question! I am happy with all my own forgiving. Some of my best friends are those I have forgiven. When we think a friend hurts us, we can be blind to what has occurred; we can be "in defense." It is good to step back, wait, and eventually the moment will come when you realize that forgiveness is already in your heart.
Forgiveness takes practice. I agree with some of the other comments. When you forgive someone, you are a new person, it makes you feel good! Would you care to elaborate more?
It is healthy to forgive, because holding grudges takes up so much negative energy to actually hate or avoid the person/situation. I say forgive, eventhough you will never forget. You can go on with your life knowing you may not be comfortable with the person or situation but at least you are working towards getting over it.
there is a difference in just forgiving someone for the sake of the act and then forgiving them and learning/moving on from that experience. many ppl say they forgive but later throw it back into the persons face.. this is not forgiving.
I find it rather easy to forgive others. I feel like we all make mistakes in life and that we shouldn't hold grudges because then we burden ourselves with grief, anger, and resentment. I also find it easier to forgive others than myself.
Forgiveness... is the path that we must enter in hopes of freeing the unconscious soul to its freedom. Within the "Journey of Life" we must seek the path of "forgiveness", without this passage in one life's journey; they will find themselves in an unconscious state, that is filled with the superficial extremities of life's wonders...Forgiveness, becomes the consciousness to LIFE...

ReplyDeleteWhen you feel forgiveness in your heart, it's easier to be happy, productive, accomplish your goals and be at peace with yourself.
ReplyDeleteDEPENDS ON HOW MUCH THE PERSON HAS HURT AND IN WHAT WAYS. FORGIVENESS IS ALWAYS GOOD IF IT'S GOING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY.
