Obama's speech was GREAT!!!
He concentrated on broad themes. In addition, he had words of praise for the previous Bush administration but also a few criticisms.
NOW, WE ALL NEED TO BE PATIENCE and continue to support OBAMA in the changes HE is going to make in the upcoming years NOT weeks or months!!
It's going to take more than four years to fix what's already broken. He has a lot on his plate. But I do believe we are headed towards the right direction.
ReplyDeleteThis was the first inaguration, i've never watched and it was kind of cool. I thought it was interesting how many people were there at the ceremony. I saw watched the neighborhood ball last night and Obama had his first dance there
ReplyDeleteI didn't get a chance to watch it. However I did hear from those who watched it, that it was good. I know that it's going to take some time, but I really do hope we can clean this mess up.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it gonna take more then 4 years to change what has been broken in 8yrs. . .But he is the president we have been waiting for and the one that knows what the people actually needs, coming from a work class background

ReplyDeleteYES I DO BELIEVE OBAMA GAVE A GREAT SPEECH! I TRUELY THINK HE IS A MAN OF HIS WORD. HE WILL RESTORE OUR COUNTRY TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY. HE IS A VERY INSPIRATIONAL PERSON JUST TO HEAR.

My second grade students and I watched it on television, and even though they didn't understand most of what he was saying, they were very much interested in his speech. After the speech, I clarified what he was trying to say and I think they got something out of it.
ReplyDeleteObama is a great speaker -something Bush lacked. Whether he turns this country around or not, one thing is sure -we have made history by electing a black president. Just this alone is worth everything. I am confident in Obama and I know that things will eventually get better. I just feel that he has so much on his plate that it's going to take a long time to start seeing some good results.
