ok so i think i got the idea of the paper but not quite sure yet... so we choose a conflict and incorporate how we worked it out and got through it... yes or no??? close???? (gizz.. i have never had this much trouble writing a paper..especially a short one.. :(
it could be a look through time, as you suggest: where a conflict turns into a consensus or where a consensus turns into a conflict. that's ok. and perhaps even more interesting is to take a group in a cross section of time and see how it is "held together" or "maintains" through a symphony of conflict and consensus.
