My baby box turtle died today and I feel so sad. I also feel guilty because I didn't take her to the vet on time. I just wish I could have held her a little longer the last time I did. She is the coolest turtle I have ever met and I can only hope that she's in a better place now. Goodbye my little turtle; I miss you so much. Thank you for your love.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. I have experienced an animal passing away and it is so hard. I also felt guilt about it but know that you gave your turtle a great life and loved him.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that your boxer tortoise passed. My South African Leoporde tortoise passed away last summer, it was so sad. She got stuck in the back yard and was in the direct sunlight. So now that you have gone through this the next time you are given a chance to have another pet take extra care of it.

I lost my dog on New Years day. Cried for weeks. And one of the things I thought of was "If only I held her a little longer" So I empathize with you!
