Two inspirations--delivering two phenomenal speeches. So I just wanted to point out the key phrases in Clinton's speech that meant something to me: Clinton: "We can't sit on the sidelines...because we know what the results will be," and to go along with that the need for "social responsibility". When we sit on the sidelines, our remedies become purely anecdotal--lack the evidence to overcome the challenges we face. If we live and breathe on this planet, it is our obligation to participate in the process--or be prepared for more of the same.

The Clinton and Obama speeches were inspirational. I am graduating this year, and I feel the pressure and fatigue to do well and pass my classes. I feel so drained and depressed about the economy, my work hours, class and homework load. It's extremely overwhelming and I feel lethargic and at my end's rope. But I do not want to suffer from "poverty of ambition" as Obama said. This would mean that all of my hard work would mean nothing, if I were to give up on school. Like Obama said, "You cannot rest", I understand that if I want to make something of myself and pursue a successful career I have to continue with my educational goals. I do not want to struggle like my co-workers who live from pay check to pay check. They remind me often to stay in school so that I don't work a dead end job, broke and unhappy, like they claim. At this point, I know I have to finish school for personal and financial stability.
These were inspirational speeches. Thank you for sharing them with us. Here is another one I came across. It's funny but has a good point in the end. I'm not sure how to make this an actual link... http://perezhilton.com/tv/index.php?ptvid=1b446ef153a25
