I've got a paper to work on and can't get my brain to unleash the first sentence. Banging my head against a wall isn't a productive way of dealing with this, right?
correct. banging head on wall not good. bang a pencil on a white piece of paper. start out by writing arghhhhh, ick, blah. keep going. keep going. do not let the pen stop. fill up two pages. no one will ever ever read it. no censorship required. then, at the end of page two, you will be ready to begin the paper.
