Hello T
You explain yesturday how to cite lectures within our essay, however i want it to know if you could tell me how i would cite a lecture on my reference page.
Thank T
I asked Christina Sheldon and this is what she said: The ASA Style Guide doesn’t give specific directions on how to cite a lecture, so I’d advise the writer use the closest analog. In the ASA Guide, that’s a presented paper (p. 106 of ASA Style Guide, top of page) and/or a PowerPoint Presentation (p. 107 of ASA Style Guide, middle of page). This assumes that the writer knows the title of the lecture, which isn’t necessarily provided by every professor teaching a class. then she provided this, which I posted for you http://maureentabor.com/301/ASA-StyleGuide-pp106-107.pdf
