Life
Why is it that education is one of the few ways of becoming economically sucessful in our lives? This world is filled with people with different talents and abilities, since this is a huge range there must be enough variety of jobs. But are there??? Lately I find myself questioning my life and whether I'm doing what I want in my life and not what I feel I have to do. I know my friends feel the same way as I do so I'm going to assume there are many people who feel like this sometime in their lives. Without a job we cannot survive, but in trying to survive when can we dedicate time into doing things we are most passionate about?

i think this is a quiet insightful post. i have always thought about why is education the only way to success unconsciously, but consciously i still continue my educational goals. i find that most students around me are not in colloege because they wanted to go because they are passionate about learning, but to find a good job or get a promotion. why are we soley based off education and not talents? why dont some of our life expierence help us to attain successful jobs? i feel i am a great counselor to my friends, family and even starngers. i have been complimented many times that i give good advice. yet, to become a counselor i must get a degree first.

ReplyDeleteWow, you hit it right on the spot. I am constantly questioning if what I am doing is what I want to do. There are times when I question continuing my education because I'm so tired of seeing friends and family members doing things that I want to do but I cant because I'm at school. I just lost track of what it is that I want because I am doing what I have to do to survive and it sucks. I just continue going because I say to myself all my hard work will somehow pay off.

ReplyDeleteThis kind of questions go through most people minds about education. One of the things I have experienced is that it is very hard to find a good job without education. I believe that education is something a person can obtain and can't be taken away.
ReplyDeleteEducation is important in life. It is true that it is hard to find a good job without education. In another ward, you can still find a good job without a education. I know there are many people have a very good job, high paying job without a education. Also, a lot of people work their way up without a education, and is based on their experiences. I noticed that when I go out to look for a job, the companies usually said they want to hire someone with experiences. I think it can be both in this case because you need a good education to find a good job and you don't need a education to find a good job. For me, without an education, I felt like I am missing something that people had which I don't have. Besides, I don't want to regret in the future if I don't get my education. This is one of the reason why I am trying to fineshed my education.
