Among the Dead
Did anyone happen to go to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery this past Saturday? Well, the cemetery held it's Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration. It was so fascinating to see all the altars people set up for their loved ones. It was pleasant to walk among the dead and feel a sense of happiness and feeling of everlasting love.

I attended this event last year. I really enjoyed it. I loved the art and music and the displays were amazing. I did not hear about it this year. Hopefully I won't miss it next year.
ReplyDeleteAm very glad that you guys liked it, because we tend to see death as this horrible event, however in many Latin american countries we celebrate death with folklore. This time of the year use used to commemorate our love ones with food,music, art and a lot of flower. In my family is the only chance my muertos to come and visit us. I invite you to visit or to celebrate you love ones with their favorite food, art, music in a small altar in you house.
