I am doing my portrait paper on Child Sexual Abuse. Can anyone give me any ideas of what to write for my topic? What kind of informations that I need to write for my paper? I am having trouble of how to start on it.
abusers or abused? that's one place to start. Of which group will you paint the portrait? victims? they often need to disassociate, deny, pretend, zone-out, fantasize to avoid the presence of the truth.
A paper on child sex abuse should be honest, otherwise whats the use. So if some teacher wants you to leave out some info, some don't want to hear about, tell them NO!. This is a problem that is as old as Man himself. This act crosses all boundaries. Rich-poor, royalty to peasant, even professionals sworn to protect cildren. You picked a heart wrenching subject that may even bring down the Dean of your school. I'm not kidding.
Here's an idea, how about interviewing someone who was sexually abused as a child? Ask Tabor if that's even an option, work your paper on the how sexual abuse affects the victim while growing up. I'd be more than willing to help, seeing as though i'm a survivor of child sexual abuse.

My heart goes out to you. Start with the child prior to the abuse. and then speak about the abused child. You should end the paper with the survivor. Because you are a survivor with strength, glory, and majesty. summer17
