Starting Over
I am finally graduating in Spring and all I can think about is moving very, very far from my native Los Angeles. Where am I going? Wherever cheaper cost of living takes me. One of my friends moved to Mississippi after high school to attend a historically black college. Maybe I can visit there first. I will be attending grad school wherever my application is accepted. I want to get out of here so bad. I just hope I'm not being too anxious; my life is so over the hustle and bustle of just barely getting by. (long Sighhhhhh).

Good for you. Los Angeles is a totally different place than the rest of the world. A draw for people who were not born and raised here but some of us just need to get out. I am moving to Boston - not the cheapest place but I have family there. It is just a different vibe. You will know soon where you are going to grad school and then it will be easier. CONGRATS on graduating in Spring.
ReplyDeleteThere are now many fun places to live in the middle of the country. Google "best cities to live in" and similar phrases.
ReplyDeleteI recently moved from San Diego to Los Angeles, to finish my bachelors, here, at CSULA. The vibe of living here is very different than back home. SD is much more slow paced and everything is close by whereas here, it's the total opposite. I was homesick the first couple of months but realized this was only temporary. Congratulations by the way!
ReplyDeleteThank you guys for the congratulations. Thanks MT for the best cities to live advice. I will begin soon.
