does anyone know when the stranger by george simmel was published?????

Simmel Citation

Hmmmmm............. so when we were doing The Stranger article by Simmel I found it on the web - thought it would be easy enough to cite.  I go back to it to learn that it comes from a book by Kurt Wolff (Trans.) I suppose I can figure out how to put it in my references but which author do I use?  Simmel - who wrote the article?  Or Wolff who I guess created this book?  Or translated it?

The Stranger Homework - Dayclass

I read it.  I found something else on the website to give me a bit more clarity.  I then read it (The Stranger) again and it made a bit more sense.  Now I am trying to do the homework questions.  I think I have found answer to question #1 - I am just choosing the clearest definition.   Anyone else having questions about this????  I hope I am doing it right.

Ideal Type

I'm currently in a relationship and I haven't really thought if he is my ideal partner. Obviously he isn't that bad, since we have been in a relationship for a year. I'm planing to let him know probably on Valentines day.. That way we'll see if we have similar views of what we consider to be ideal for one another.

I have heard the saying "opposite attract" many times but I don't believe they last, I'm not the kind of person who likes arguing. So we need to have similar (not exactly the same) personalities.

I may be a bit traditional in this sense but I want someone who is able to make decisions like where to go for dinner, what to do on the weekend, etc. Of course I should also be able to make decisions but I prefer that the man has a bit more control. It gives me the feeling of being protected or taken care of. I believe that if we both have similar or equal levels of education, salaries, and culture there are less problems. None the less he should be faithful, loyal, respectful, and caring. And most importantly love me for who I am.

Well looks like he fit those qualities :)

Ideal Type - A Romantic Valentine

I was so excited when MT had asked us what is our 'ideal type' in a romantic valentine. In an alternate universe where everything went my way I would definitely characterized my valentine as charismatic, charming, understanding, humorous and sensible. Of course adding in those 4 stages where it's true for dogs as well humans - trust, loyalty, respect and then leading into LOVE...

If only it were that easy.
