I moved to Pomona into a new house this weekend with my family. I am enjoying our new home. They gave me my own room, which is sweet because I am their niece, not their daughter. It will be a year in June since I have lived with them. We lived before in a much smaller house in West Covina where I also had my own room but it also served as the storage room which wasn't much fun. So I am happy to have my own personal room. =) We now have a pool, which is nice because even though it is winter, the sun has been making its random appearances. I also enjoy the fact that the house is two stories. I can make as much noise as I want and no one will hear me in the family room where everyone hangs out!
Congratulations. That sounds really nice. Nice to be wanted, respected and part of a family. A little bit longer drive to school but it sounds like it is worth it. And, you are appreciative which, I am sure, shows through to them.
